Whose Baby?  Ponies, like all equines are very social animals. Each of the ponies have their own unique traits. Juliette for instance is
a very sweet mare, that loves being a mom. However, she is an alpha mare and is in charge. In the photo is Juliette the
dark bay, Jade the grey, and Jade's baby, Angel. The funny thing is, Angel is forever following Juliette around, stealing
her food, and invading her space as if Juliette were her mother instead of Jade's. I get a good laugh when I tell Juliette,
"That's not your baby!" and Juliette will pin her ears and shoo Angel away, as if she understands what I am
saying.
Welcome
After many requests Kimberlake Farm has started a blog. The goal is to keep all the Fell Pony Fans up to
date on what the ponies are doing. Winter is a slower time for us here at Kimberlake so that should give plenty of time for
taking photos and sharing fun stories. I hope you enjoy the news, and as this is new for the farm please give feedback on
what you would like to know more about.
